                 WE ARE READY TO PLAY!!!!!!

Lacrosse season is here!  We’ve just started tryouts and are very much looking forward to getting out on the fields. Within the next few days the various teams will be sorted out and everybody who is interested in playing will have a chance to do so.

As the captains of the HHS varsity team we’re writing to the parents of the girls in the lacrosse program (at all levels) to ask for your support of the Friends of Hanover Lacrosse.  Lacrosse in Hanover is extremely popular, and the girls program is very successful.  We’re fortunate to have great coaches who care about us, who know the game, and who provide great inspiration and leadership.

But this experience we love so much cannot exist without the generosity of parents and friends to fill the need that the athletic/recreation budget cannot cover.  That is why the Friends of Hanover Lacrosse was created. They provide support throughout the season.  They help raise the necessary funds to rent fields, hire officials, and to purchase safety equipment and uniforms, among many other items.

We’re asking for your financial support in addition to the support you provide to us all season with your attendance at the games and enthusiasm in the stands. All the details you’ll need are in the form included with this mailing.
